Molecular Biotechnology and Bioinformatics – Educational Scientific Institute of High Technologies

Educational program: Biology (high technologies)
Specialty: 091 Biology
The department offers unique training programs in the field of modern biology, molecular biology and bioinformatics. We go beyond traditional vocational education by including advanced mathematics, physics and chemistry in our biology curriculum.

The scientific work of the department is aimed at studying the physical and chemical mechanisms of the functioning of living things at different levels of the organization. Teachers and employees of the department work in the areas of research into the structural mechanisms of the interaction of biopolymers with each other and with low molecular weight substances, the influence of physicochemical factors on cellular metabolism, in silico design of new compounds with high activity against given molecular targets, and the development of new generation high-affinity biosensors. Employees of the department are actively working researchers with experience of scientific work in foreign universities.

Educational program: Biology (high technologies).
Specialty: 091 Biology.

The department offers unique training programs. We go beyond traditional vocational education by including advanced mathematics, physics and chemistry in our biology curriculum.

The department provides training for students in biochemistry, physiology and anatomy of humans and animals, modern information technologies in biology, molecular biology, and others. Conducting specialized courses on methods of kinetic analysis in biology, basics of molecular pharmacology, structural bioinformatics, mechanisms of intercellular communication, and others.
