Physics and applications of spintronic detectors
We study linear and nonlinear phenomena in spintronic detectors of various types including detectors based on ferromagnets and antiferromagnets. We concentrate our efforts on the theoretical and numerical investigation of the detector operation regimes and their electrodynamic properties. We also do the R@D of microwave and (sub-)terahertz devices based on spintronic detectors or their arrays, and do the optimization of the device’s performance.
We predicted and studied several unconventional non-resonant regimes of operation of spintronic detectors with the out-of-plane precessing magnetic moment for the case of detectors biased by a DC magnetic field and field-free detectors with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy. We did R@D of microwave and terahertz-frequency frequency detectors and spectrum analyzers based on current-driven spintronic nanosctructures.
