In 1995, he received a grant-invitation to participate in the International Symposium on Innervation of the Gastrointestinal Organs to Japan (Matsuyama), where he presented a report on the role of different levels of the central nervous system in the regulation of blood circulation and tissue respiration of the liver. In 1997 and 1999, he received grants and invitations to Falk symposia on liver diseases in Germany (Freiburg) and Switzerland (Basel), respectively, and made reports on the mechanisms of the occurrence and development of one of the most serious diseases - portal hypertension . In 2004, he received the Award of the Mayor of Kyiv in the field of "Diagnostics and methods of treatment of the most common diseases" for his scientific research work on elucidating the mechanisms of occurrence and developing a method of treatment for a severe disease of the liver and other organs of the gastrointestinal tract - portal hypertension. The results of the obtained studies were published in the collective monograph "Actual aspects of internal medicine".
