We are certain—they do!
Modern biology is more than just the science of living organisms. It integrates exact sciences, advanced technologies, and computational methods. It intersects with physics, chemistry, IT, and engineering, opening new opportunities for research and innovation.
Let’s explore together—using quantum theory for programmable nanotechnological biosensors as new agents of intermolecular interaction.

Project proposals are accepted until December 30, 2024.
Project Topics:
“Technology prototypes based on the latest advances in biology, biotechnology, and related sciences with potential practical applications in science and/or industry.” Priority will be given to projects focusing on the development of analytical methods for proteins and nucleic acids, pharmacokinetics of high-molecular compounds, and disease modeling in vitro. Projects requiring in vivo research will not be considered.
To participate, applicants must submit:
– A completed application form with brief project information;
– A project abstract in Ukrainian and English with signatures from the project leader and participants (1 copy);
– CVs in Ukrainian and English for the project leader (1 copy).
The completed form, signed with the electronic signatures of participants and containing brief project information, should be sent to isvoiteshenko@knu.ua. Only applications submitted in compliance with the stated requirements and within the deadline will be considered.
Projects will be carried out at the R&D departments of Biopharma/Preci and the Institute of High Technologies (with detailed descriptions of available equipment and reagents provided separately). Additionally, Biopharma will allocate up to 400,000 UAH in scholarships per winning project. The project result should include a corresponding prototype and prepared materials for publication in a scientific journal indexed in Scopus/Web of Science or for an international patent application. The project completion deadline is the end of 2025.
Research may be conducted using the technical facilities of the Biopharma R&D center.
All paper documents must be compiled into one folder. Physical copies are accepted at the following address: Ukraine, 03023, Kyiv, 4G Glushkov Avenue, Room 216, Institute of High Technologies, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Project leaders and main participants may submit multiple applications. However, funding will be awarded to only one project per leader.
